ดอกบัว Lotus เป็นดอกไม้ที่ชาวเวียดนามถือว่าเป็น 1 ใน 4 ของพันธุ์ไม้ที่มีความสง่างาม ซึ่งประกอบไปด้วย ต้นสน ต้นไผ่ และต้นเบญจมาศ ดอกบัวเป็นที่รู้จักในนาม “ดอกไม้แห่ง รุ่งอรุณ” พบได้ทั่วไปตามแหล่งน้ำของประเทศเวียดนาม สำหรับชาวเวียดนามแล้ว ดอกบัวคือสัญลักษณ์ของความบริสุทธิ์ ความผูกพัน และการมองโลกในแง่ดี ความสง่างามของดอกบัวมักถูกกล่าวถึงในบทกลอน และเพลงพื้นเมืองของประเทศเวียดนาม

Lotus is the national flower of Vietnam

The people of Viet Nam regard the Lotus as one of the four graceful flowers and plants, along with the pine, bamboo, and chrysanthemum. Known as the ‘flower of the dawn’, the Lotus is found throughout the country at lakes and ponds. To the Vietnamese, the lotus is the symbol of purity, commitment and optimism for the future. The elegance of the lotus is often cited in the Vietnamese folk songs and poems.
